The popular Franklin The Turtle videos are favorites for many kids.  I started to watch them when I was three.  I still enjoy watching them now.  My mom used to borrow the DVDs from the local library.  Sometimes she forgot to return them on time and got fined for overdue.  Now there are many Franklin The Turtle videos on Youtube.com.  My mom helps me put them together so that I can share them with you.

Franklin is a growing young turtle who can count by twos and tie his shoes. He lives with his parents Mr. and Mrs Turtle in a small village.  He has a younger sister called Harriet.  His best friend is Bear.  Franklin likes swimming, arts and crafts.  He is especially good at drawing. His favorite food is shoofly pie (though none of his friends like it). He is afraid of the dark and of thunderstorms. Every night he sleeps with his blue blanket and stuffed dog Sam. During the thunder storms when Franklin is scared Sam and his blue blanket help keep him calm.  Franklin has a pet fish called Goldie.  Now you know a lot about Franklin.  Let’s watch Franklin The Turtle videos together!

My teacher Mrs. Samarita asked us to find the Barney song “It isn’t any trouble just to S-M-I-L-E”. I didn’t know the exact name of the song. It took me a while to find this song on Youtube with my mom’s help. My mom told me that S-M-I-L-E is a Barney’s song that first appeared in the Barney & Friends episode Oh, What a Day!  I would like to share this song and the lyrics with you.

I Love San Francisco!

My mom and dad went to San Francisco last May. They brought me a small toy crab which looks like a real one!

They told me they saw hundreds of seals at Pier 39.  Every summer I go to Marineland with my mom and dad to watch baby seals performing all kinds of tricks. The seal family must be from San Francisco!

I love San Francisco!
